Introduction

We have located some simple software, called fancyBox, to present galleries in a way that will be familiar to may people who surf the net. Clicking on a picture opens up the gallery as an overlay with a grey background. Clicking the overlay picture displays the next picture while the mouse wheel allows one to move forward or backwards in the gallery. The arrow keys also serve in that respect.

A line of thumbnail picture is shown along the bottom of the screen to help select pictures of interest.

Clicking outside of the overlay picture, that is to the left or right of the picture in the grey background area, closes the gallery. The Esc key also serves that function.
